hit the guide button. It is the whole original version of the dashboard.
"but you aren't even paying for eye candy your just paying for crap hardware at twice the price"
twice the price of what? it's not twice the price of the wii. It's not twice the price of the PS3. It's not twice the price of the original xbox.
woops
@"from what I've seen the one con is that its more of the same formula that the previous 4 games followed."
like every other sequel/prequel ever.
OXM UK is actually harder on a lot of 360 games than some other publications.
OXM not so much, but the UK version.
Apple and M$ are pretty comparable. RIM (blackberry) has by far the largest portion of the smart phone market.
I didn't know gamestop owned them...
:( that makes me shad...
ODST's full price was more because of the value in the box. Like Orange Box, it had a bunch of stuff in there. It wasn't just for ODST that it was worth it. It was more like $40 for ODST and $20 for all the multiplayer content.
kinda sucked for people that bought all the halo 3 map packs, but for people that never bought any of them, it was totally worth the price.
This all coming from someone that didn't buy it.
"How exactly did Halo "Revolutionize" anything?"
it's the biggest reason that multiplayer gaming took off on consoles.
Don't sell your games. It's stupid. You will get crap for money. I would have an absolutely amazing collection of games if I didn't sell them all in my youth, but now I'm stuck with all the games I paid $30 for, sold for $15, and are now worth $70-$150.
And if you happen to rebuy it's pretty much like paying $80 for a game that's probably in worse condition than new.
windows mobile is the third largest mobile operating system in market share right now.
I won't go so far as to say iPhone or Android aren't successful (I love my droid even without any service on it), but M$ already has a huge piece of the market to build off of.
blackberries suck. All the windows phone 7s, android phones, and iphones work a lot better.
I've had a curve for 2 years and I hate that pile. I've used a storm and a tour, and I hate those piles too.
blackberry is totally overrated and their phones suck compared to newer ones from almost all other phone manufacturers.
edit: they sell more because they are pretty much free with a contract now.
it's not marketing. It was a party for their staff that got leaked.
people were dressed up as kins. Didn't you look at the pictures?
@ turok.
The wiimote has an ir camera in the end of it that sees two IR leds that are a fixed distance apart on top of the tv.
Agree with this. It's not the commercial that's upsetting, it's the blatant hypocrisy from the fans. Microsoft and Nintendo release sales figures and somehow they are an affront to Sony and despicable unprofessional business practices. Sony comes right out and insults the competition and it's hilarious.
double standards ftw.
They both use camera's to track some fixed distance in space (the radius of the sphere or the width of the sensor bar) combined with accelerometers for orientation.
They both have add on peripherals with analog sticks for extra control.
The mechanics of both systems are almost identical.
Dude a lot of games sell really well on the Wii. It's just that the Wii's best games sell ludicrous numbers (>10 million).
Their top 50 games have all sold more than a million (most multiple millions), and of those 50 27 are non-nintendo titles.
It's top 100 games are still just barely under the 1 million mark.
The wii has a lot more games too. Currently the wii has 1146 games (source wikipedia). 360 has 763 and PS3 has 647. <...
they never owned bioware. Bioware was independent until it teamed up with pandemic and their holding company and then was bought by EA.
there are different classes for every game type and map combination.
